Unemployment Reaches 10.2%
November 6, 2009
Today's jobs report shows that the unemployment rate reached 10.2% for the month of October. That's the highest rate since 1983. While that headline will dominate the news today, the good part is that temp hiring improved by 34,000. That's the silver lining. I don't see a quick fix for the jobs market, but at least we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
