Industrial Production Rises Again

There's more good economic news. The Federal Reserve reported that industrial production rose again last month. This is the third straight monthly increase.
The report shows that industrial production jumped 0.7% last month which was even greater than the 0.2% increase expected by economists. Also, the number for August was revised upward to an increase of 1.2% from the original report of a 0.8% increase.
At the end of October, we'll get our first look at how well the economy did during the third quarter. If these industrial production reports are any indication, then the recession is over.
