Capital Bank Financial Corp., through its subsidiaries, provides various commercial and consumer banking, and ancillary financial services in the southeastern region of the United States. Its deposit products include non-interest-bearing checking accounts, interest-bearing checking accounts, savings accounts, money market deposit accounts, certificates of deposit, and individual retirement accounts. The company’s commercial loans products comprise owner occupied commercial real estate construction and term loans; working capital loans and lines of credit; demand, term, and time loans; and equipment, inventory, and accounts receivable financing. Its consumer loan products consist of home equity lines of credit; residential first lien mortgages; second lien mortgages; new and used auto loans; new and used boat loans; overdraft protection; and unsecured personal credit lines. The company also offers debit and credit cards; mortgage loans; and trust and wealth management services, including deposit products, mortgage financing, mutual funds, annuities, and other financial products, as well as investment advisory services. As of December 31, 2011, it operated 165 branches in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Capital Bank Financial Corp. was formerly known as North American Financial Holdings Inc. and changed its name to Capital Bank Financial Corp. in January, 2012. Capital Bank Financial Corp. was incorporated in 2009 and is based in Coral Gables, Florida.
