The Retail Branding and Information Solutions segment designs, manufactures, and sells various branding and information solutions, including creative services, brand embellishments, graphic tickets, tags, labels, and sustainable packaging solutions; and information solutions, such as price ticketing and marking, brand protection, security solutions, and compliance solutions, as well as radio-frequency identification-enabled inventory accuracy, visibility, and loss prevention solutions. This segment serves retailers, brand owners, apparel manufacturers, distributors, and industrial customers. The Vancive Medical Technologies segment offers pressure-sensitive adhesive products for surgical, wound care, ostomy, and electromedical applications to medical supply and device manufacturers, and healthcare providers. The company was formerly known as Avery International Corporation and changed its name to Avery Dennison Corporation in 1990. Avery Dennison Corporation was founded in 1935 and is headquartered in Glendale, California.
