Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited provides insurance and reinsurance solutions worldwide. The company’s Reinsurance segment offers property catastrophe reinsurance; and other property reinsurance, including risk excess, pro rata, risk solutions, and facultative reinsurance. This segment also offers casualty reinsurance comprising U.S. treaty providing coverage to workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, general liability, auto liability, professional liability, and excess liability; international treaty reinsurance that reinsures exposures primarily with respect to general liability, auto liability, professional liability, workers’ compensation, and excess liability; and global facultative reinsurance. In addition, it offers specialty reinsurance comprising credit and surety reinsurance, including trade credit, international surety, and political risks reinsurance; agricultural reinsurance covering crop and multi-peril business; and other specialty reinsurance treaties and insurance policies covering policyholders’ interests in marine, energy, liability aviation, space, contingency, terrorism, nuclear, accident, and crop reinsurance. Aspen Insurance Holdings’ Insurance segment offers the United Kingdom commercial property and construction insurance, and the United States property insurance that provide physical damage and business interruption coverage for losses arising from weather, fire, theft, and other causes; casualty insurance comprising commercial liability, global excess casualty, U.S. casualty insurance, and environmental liability; energy physical damage, marine hull, specie, inland marine, and ocean risks and aviation, as well as marine, energy, and construction liability insurance; and insurance providing coverage for financial institutions, professional liability, financial and political risks, and U.S. surety risks.
