American Midstream Partners, LP engages in gathering, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas in the Gulf Coast and Southeast regions of the United States. Its primary assets are located in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas, which provide infrastructure that link producers and suppliers of natural gas to various natural gas markets, including various interstate and intrastate pipelines, as well as utility, industrial, and other commercial customers. The company’s Gathering and Processing segment provides ‘wellhead to market’ services to producers of natural gas and oil, which include transporting raw natural gas from various receipt points through gathering systems; treating the raw natural gas; processing raw natural gas to separate the natural gas liquids (NGLs); and selling or delivering pipeline quality natural gas, as well as NGLs to various markets and pipeline systems. Its Transmission segment transports and delivers natural gas from producing wells, receipt points, or pipeline interconnects for shippers and other customers, which include local distribution companies, utilities and industrial, commercial, and power generation customers. The company owns and operates nine gathering systems, three processing facilities, two interstate pipelines, and five intrastate pipelines, as well as owns a 50% undivided interest in a natural gas processing plant located in southern Louisiana. It operates approximately 1,400 miles of pipelines that gather and transport approximately 500 million cubic feet per day of natural gas. American Midstream GP, LLC serves as the general partner of the company. American Midstream Partners, LP was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.
