BancFirst Corporation operates as the holding company for BancFirst that provides commercial banking services to retail customers and small to medium-sized businesses in Oklahoma. The company’s deposit services include checking accounts, negotiable order of withdrawal accounts, savings accounts, money market accounts, sweep accounts, club accounts, individual retirement accounts, and certificates of deposit, as well as overdraft protection and auto draft services. Its loan products comprise various commercial loans consisting of commercial mortgages, asset-based loans, working capital lines of credit, and small business administration guaranteed loans to small to medium-sized businesses; consumer loans comprising automobile loans, residential mortgages, home equity loans, and other personal loans; and agricultural loans. BancFirst Corporation is also involved in the investment management and administration of trusts for individuals, corporations, and employee benefit plans, as well as serves as bond trustee and paying agent for various Oklahoma municipalities and governmental entities; and provision of item processing, research, and other correspondent banking services to financial institutions and governmental units. In addition, the company engages in real estate investment, insurance agency, and community development businesses; and providing funds transfer, collections, safe deposit boxes, cash management, and retail brokerage services. BancFirst Corporation serves customers in non-metropolitan trade centers of Oklahoma and the metropolitan markets of Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Lawton, Muskogee, Norman, and Shawnee. As of April 16, 2012, it had 93 banking locations serving 51 communities in Oklahoma. The company was formerly known as United Community Corporation and changed its name to BancFirst Corporation in November 1988. BancFirst Corporation was founded in 1984 and is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
