The DynaEnergetics segment manufactures, markets, and sells perforating explosives and associated hardware, as well as seismic explosives for the oil and gas industry. It offers detonating cords, detonators, bi-directional boosters, shaped charges, perforating guns, and seismic related explosives and accessories to large, mid-sized, and small oilfield service companies in the United States, Europe, Canada, South America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. The company was formerly known as Explosive Fabricators, Inc. and changed its name to Dynamic Materials Corporation in 1994. Dynamic Materials Corporation was founded in 1965 and is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado.
