As of January 28, 2012, the company operated 686 stores in 44 states, including 402 Christopher & Banks stores; 199 C.J. Banks stores; 62 dual-concept stores; and 23 outlet stores. It also operates e-Commerce Web sites for its brands at christopherandbanks.com and cjbanks.com. The company was formerly known as Braun’s Fashions Corporation and changed its name to Christopher & Banks Corporation in July 2000. Christopher & Banks Corporation was founded in 1956 and is headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota.
