Company Profile
Church & Dwight Co., Inc., together with its subsidiaries, develops, manufactures, and markets a range of household, personal care, and specialty products under various brand names in the United States and internationally. The company operates in three segments: Consumer Domestic, Consumer International, and Specialty Products Division (SPD). The Consumer Domestic segment offers household products, such as pure baking soda, powder and liquid laundry detergents, carpet and room deodorizers, cat litter deodorizer, cat litters, fabric softeners, dryer cloths, washing soda, bathroom cleaners, daily shower cleaner, aluminum and stainless steel cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, fabric wash, and detergents and cleaning solutions; and personal care products, including toothpastes, toothbrushes, battery-operated toothbrushes, denture adhesive, deodorants and antiperspirants, condoms, home pregnancy and ovulation test kits, depilatories, lotions, creams, waxes, oral analgesics, nasal saline moisturizer, and laxatives. The Consumer International segment markets and sells various personal care, over-the-counter, and household products in international markets, including Canada, France, Australia, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Brazil, and China. The SPD segment offers specialty chemicals, such as performance grade sodium bicarbonate, potassium carbonate, and potassium bicarbonate; animal nutrition products, including feed grade sodium bicarbonate, rumen bypass fat and lysine, sodium sesquicarbonate, rumen fermentation enhancers, feed grade potassium carbonate, and essential fatty acids; and specialty cleaners for a range of industrial, institutional, medical, and food applications. The company sells its products primarily through supermarkets, mass merchandisers, wholesale clubs, drugstores, convenience stores, pet specialty stores, and dollar stores. Church & Dwight Co., Inc. was founded in 1846 and is headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey.
