It also distributes natural gas; provides telecommunication services through its fiber-optics and coaxial cable network; and engages in the national and international consulting business that provides energy solutions to industrial, service, and commercial sector companies. The company was founded in 1952 and is headquartered in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
