The company’s Pharmaceuticals segment provides branded and generic pharmaceuticals, including pain and addiction treatment products; active pharmaceutical ingredients comprising medicinal opiates, peptides, stearates, and phosphate; contrast products, such as contrast delivery systems and contrast agents; and radiopharmaceuticals, including radioactive isotopes and associated pharmaceuticals used for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Its Medical Supplies segment offers nursing care products, which include incontinence, wound care, enteral feeding, urology, and suction products; medical surgical products, such as operating room supply products related accessories, electrodes, thermometry, and chart paper product lines; sharp safety products comprising needles, syringes, and sharps disposal products; and original equipment manufacturer products. The company markets its products through direct sales force and third-party distributors primarily to hospitals, surgi-centers, alternate site facilities, and drug manufacturers.
