It is involved in the production of various crops, including wheat, corn, sunflower, soybean, and sorghum; breeding and fattening of beef cattle through its beef cattle stock for local meat processors and supermarkets; production of milk for sale to dairy companies; and commodity brokerage activities. The company also engages in the development and sale of residential properties; development, acquisition, operation, and exploitation of shopping centers, as well as develops and acquired offices, luxury hotels, and other non-shopping center properties; and consumer financing activities. As of June 30, 2011, it owned 26 farms with approximately 474,186 hectares. The company was founded in 1936 and is headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
