Carnival plc, a cruise company, provides cruises to various vacation destinations. The company offers cruises under the brand names of Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, and Seabourn in North America; and AIDA Cruises, Costa Cruises, Cunard, Ibero Cruises, P&O Cruises (UK), and P&O Cruises (Australia) in Europe, Australia, and Asia. It also owns Holland America Princess Alaska Tours, a tour operator in Alaska and the Canadian Yukon, which owns and operates 13 hotels or lodges, 300 motor coaches, and 20 domed rail cars. The company sells its cruises through travel agents, including wholesalers and tour operators. Carnival plc was founded in 1850 and is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.
