Enterprise Bancorp, Inc. operates as the holding company for Enterprise Bank and Trust Company, a trust company and state chartered commercial bank that provides banking and other financial services. It offers a range of deposit and loan products, as well as cash management, investment advisory and management, trust, and insurance services to business entities, non-profit organizations, professionals, and individuals primarily in the Merrimack Valley and north central regions of Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. The company’s deposit products comprise personal checking accounts, savings accounts, money market accounts, individual retirement accounts, and term certificates of deposit to individuals; commercial checking accounts, business and municipal savings accounts, money market and business sweep accounts, and escrow management accounts to businesses; and checking and simplified employee pension accounts to the employees of its business customers. Its loan products include commercial mortgage loans, construction and land development loans, secured and unsecured commercial loans and lines of credit, standby letters of credit, and equipment lease financing for businesses; and conventional residential mortgage loans, home equity loans and lines, residential construction loans on primary residences, and secured and unsecured personal loans and lines of credit to individuals. The company’s investment services include customized investment management and trust services; and insurance services comprise the sale of property and casualty, employee benefits, and risk-management solutions. It has 19 full service branch banking offices located in the Massachusetts cities and towns of Acton, Andover, Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Fitchburg, Leominster, Lowell, Methuen, Tewksbury, and Westford; and in the New Hampshire towns of Derry, Hudson, Pelham, and Salem. The company was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Lowell, Massachusetts.
