Company Profile
F.N.B. Corporation, a financial holding company, provides various financial services to consumers and small-to medium-sized businesses primarily in Pennsylvania and northeastern Ohio. The company operates in four segments: Community Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance, and Consumer Finance. The Community Banking segment offers various commercial banking services, including commercial and individual demand, savings, and time deposit accounts; and commercial, mortgage, and individual installment loans. The Wealth Management segment provides a range of personal and corporate fiduciary services, such as the administration of decedent and trust estates; and offers various alternative products comprising securities brokerage and investment advisory services, mutual funds, and annuities primarily for individuals, corporations, and retirement funds. The Insurance segment operates as a full-service insurance brokerage agency, which offers commercial and personal insurance products and services through various carriers to businesses and individuals; acts as a reinsurer to underwrite credit life, and accident and health insurance products; and offers title insurance products. The Consumer Finance segment is primarily involved in making installment loans to individuals; and purchasing installment sales finance contracts from retail merchants. The company also provides mezzanine financing options for small-to medium-sized businesses; and new or used equipment leasing services. As of December 31, 2011, it operated 234 community banking offices in Pennsylvania and Ohio; and 66 consumer finance offices in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky. F.N.B. Corporation was founded in 1974 and is headquartered in Hermitage, Pennsylvania.
