The company also offers logistics services consisting of rail intermodal service in the United States and internationally; long haul and regional highway truckload services; less-than-truckload transportation; specialized hauling, flatbed, and project works; warehousing and distribution services; transloading, cross-dock services, and packaging services; and network analysis and freight management services. In addition, it provides container stevedoring, terminal, and equipment maintenance services for carriers in Honolulu. The company was formerly known as Alexander & Baldwin Holdings, Inc. and changed its name to Matson, Inc. in July 2012. Matson, Inc. was founded in 1882 and is headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii.
