The Material Handling segment provides plastic reusable material handling containers, pallets, and bins; and metal shelving, cabinet and racking systems, plastic recreational vehicle tank and parts, marine tanks, and portable fuel and water containers, as well as ammunition containers, plastic storage and organizational products, plastic and metal carts, wooden dollies, and custom products under the Buckhorn, Novel, Myers do Brasil, Jamco Products, Akro-Mils, Ameri-Kart, and Scepter brand names. This segment serves agriculture, automotive, commercial, food processing and distribution, healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, retail and wholesale distribution, consumer, recreational vehicle, marine, military, food and beverage, and custom markets. The Distribution segment offers tire changing, and balancing and alignment equipment; air service equipment; lifts and related equipment; tire pressure monitoring systems and tire valve hardware; wheel weights; and tire patches, cements, and repair supplies, as well as tire accessories, service equipment, hand tools, brakes, transmission and allied equipment, highway markings, industrial rubber, and general shop supplies. It offers products under the Myers Tire Supply, Myers Tire Supply International, and Patch Rubber Company brand names, as well as under Elrick, Fleetline, and MTS brand names. This segment serves retail tire, truck tire, and auto dealers; commercial auto and truck fleets; general repair and services facilities; tire retreaders and repair; governmental agencies; telecommunications; industrial; road construction; and mining markets. The company was founded in 1933 and is headquartered in Akron, Ohio.
