Its Residential Mortgage Banking segment provides residential mortgage loans; and Non-Strategic Assets Portfolio segment offers commercial residential development loans, cross-border leases, consumer brokered home equity loans, retail and non-prime mortgages, and residential construction loans. The company’s BlackRock segment offers investment management; market risk management, financial markets advisory, and enterprise investment system; and financial markets advisory services. The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. serves corporations, government and not-for-profit entities, middle-market companies, and institutional and retail clients through its branch network, call centers, and online banking channels. As of December 31, 2011, it operated a network of 2,511 branches and 6,806 automatic teller machines in Washington, D.C., as well as in the 14 states of the United States. The company was founded in 1922 and is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
