In addition, it provides metadata pertaining to music, television, movie, book, video games, and other entertainment content, as well as catalog information on celebrities, awards, sports, and other data; Audience Management Solution, a suite of products combining big data with predictive analytics to provide TV audience insights and advertising campaign management; and advertising services. Further, the company offers ACP, an analog video content security solution that protects videocassettes and DVDs to CE manufacturers, content production studios, and semiconductor companies that supply the CE manufacturers; and VCR Plus+, connected platform, and media recognition products. Additionally, it provides advanced search, recommendation, and conversation services to service providers, device manufacturers, and application/service developers. The company was formerly known as Macrovision Solutions Corporation and changed its name to Rovi Corporation in July 2009. Rovi Corporation was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Santa Clara, California.
