As of September 30, 2011, the company sold its home heating oil and propane to approximately 407,000 full service residential and commercial customers. Kestrel Heat, LLC operates as the general partner of the company. Star Gas Partners, L.P. was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut.
