The company has vertically integrated manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution operations, which supply paper, equipment, food products, frozen, and refrigerated products to restaurants. It distributes coffee and other beverages, non-perishable food, supplies, packaging, and equipment to system restaurants through distribution centers and third-party distributors. As of January 1, 2012, the company had 4,014 restaurants in Canada, the United States, and the Gulf Cooperation Council. Tim Hortons Inc. was founded in 1964 and is based in Oakville, Canada.
