It has principal operations in the Appalachian Basin; the Arkoma Basin in eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas; and the Fort Worth Basin in northern Texas. As of May 2, 2012, Union Drilling, Inc. owned a fleet of 50 drilling rigs. The company was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas.
