Williams Partners L.P., an energy infrastructure company, focuses on connecting North America’s hydrocarbon resource plays to growing markets for natural gas and natural gas liquids. It operates in two segments, Gas Pipeline and Midstream Gas & Liquids. The Gas Pipeline segment owns and operates a combined total of approximately 13,700 miles of pipelines. This segment also holds interests in joint venture interstate and intrastate natural gas pipeline systems, including a 49 percent interest in Gulfstream Natural Gas System L.L.C., which owns an approximate 745-mile pipeline. The Midstream Gas & Liquids segment has operations primarily in the Rocky Mountain and Gulf Coast regions, and in the Marcellus Shale region, as well as various equity investments in domestic natural gas gathering and processing assets and natural gas liquid fractionation and transportation assets. This segment’s assets also include substantial operations and investments in the Four Corners region and the Piceance basin, as well as an NGL fractionator and storage facilities near Conway, Kansas. Williams Partners GP LLC serves as the general partner of the company. The company was founded in 2005 and is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
