The Applied Water segment provides pumps, valves, heat exchangers, controls, and dispensing equipment under the Goulds Water Technology (Goulds), Bell & Gossett, AC Fire, Standard, Flojet, Lowara, Jabsco, and Flowtronex brand names for building services, industrial water, and irrigation applications. Xylem Inc. sells its products through direct sales force, resellers, distributors, and value-added solution providers primarily in the United States, Europe, the Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East. The company was formerly known as ITT WCO, Inc. and changed its name to Xylem Inc. in July 2011. Xylem Inc. was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in White Plains, New York.
