How much money do you allocate to each stock on your Buy List? Do you offer different strategies for investors depending on how aggressive they are? For example, would you recommend that someone with a smaller portfolio be more or less aggressive or is it all about investor personality?

I believe investing is all about investor personality. Personally, I’m more aggressive, but I understand that’s just me, and that most investors are more conservative. Even investors with large portfolios can very skittish about market downturns. Sometimes large portfolio investors are the most conservative of all! That’s why I categorize every stock I recommend into one of three categories: Conservative, Moderately Aggressive or Aggressive. I want investors to know exactly what they’re holding on to, and as such, diversify accordingly.

As a general rule, I recommend investors allocate 60% of their total portfolio to Conservative stocks, 30% to Moderately Aggressive stocks and 10% to Aggressive stocks---naturally, the more aggressive your approach to investing, the more you can increase your percentage of aggressive holdings and vice versa.
