05.30.08: You are high on MTL. What are your thoughts on the recent news that Russian authorities have met with the company and others in their industry about putting an export tax on their products?
Mechel (MTL) remains an A-rated stock in PortfolioGrader Pro. But unfortunately, Putin's actions against the company in the end of July have put a huge drag on the stock price and i would advise steering away from Mechel.
