Hi Louis, I’ve heard you say that we should all be invested by mid-May. What about a retired individual? Should we also be following this advice?

Absolutely.  I really want you to be invested by early May after the Fed cuts key interest rates on April 30.  Also, during presidential election years, the stock market typically takes off in May and rallies into the November election.  After a new president is sworn in January, the stock market has historically done well for about another 100 days, then the honeymoon is over and the stock market can start to stress a bit.  Because the Fed will likely be done cutting key interest rates after April 30 and the presidential election cycle will excite the market, I believe that all investors should be invested by early May.
