The United States government looks to be very supportive of the wind power generation market. With promises to provide funding for the industry and incentives for wind power use, the sector is poised to be a winner over the next several years.

Broadwind Energy (BWEN) is a U.S. based manufacturer of gear systems for wind turbines. It has a simple business model and is poised to prosper from the expected growth of wind power around the globe. Shares of BWEN are trading only slightly above the March lows. Investors have yet to bid up shares despite the move of oil prices above $70. BWEN's 52 week high is close to $30 per share. Such a state presents an opportunity for investors to get in on what I expect to be a huge growth story.
